Tour Overview

In 1869, the French missionary David Armand went into the deep encircling mountains of Baoxing County in Sichuan Province. It was here that he discovered the giant panda. Since then, Baoxin becomes an imporant site for all the people who love giant panda. There is a panda exhibition hall, and the church where he used to preach.

The road scenery to Baoxin is magnificent. It will lead us to the beautiful snow capped mountain, Mt.Siguniang, the area is reputed to be the "Oriental Alps". The National Park was identified as a UNESCO Heritage Site as part of Sichuan Giant Panda Sanctuaries in 2006.

After arriving at Dujiangyan city, we will try easy hiking in Mt. Qingcheng, where is one the most famous Taoist mountain in China. It is covered by luxuriant and verdant trees. Mount Qingcheng and the Dujiangyan Irrigation System were inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2000. Cap off your journey with an unforgettable visit to feed pandas and do the volunteer work in Dujiangyan Panda Base.
